Special Projects Coordinator

Abbey has a presence you don’t forget. She walks into a room with contagious joy, unmatched energy, and a heart that instantly draws people in. A proud mom to two incredible children, Tommy and Avery, Abbey is passionate about creating a world where every child—regardless of ability—feels seen, valued, and celebrated.

Originally from Winnsboro, Louisiana and now living in Mangham, Abbey has built a life centered around compassion and connection. As a nurse, dance teacher, and self-published author of five children’s books, her work beautifully reflects her heart: one that fiercely believes in the power of representation and the importance of teaching inclusiveness from an early age.

Abbey also holds a special connection to the pageant world—she was crowned Miss New Orleans USA 2012 and placed in the Top 10 at Miss Louisiana USA. The experience left a lasting mark and deepened her belief in the confidence and sisterhood that pageantry can offer.

Inspired by her daughter Avery, who lives with a disability, Abbey began sharing their everyday life online—not for attention, but to open hearts. Her Instagram community has become a space of storytelling, education, and encouragement. She shares routines, real-life moments, and the joy tucked inside daily life as a disability advocate and mom. Her mission is clear: to show others how to love more fully, include more freely, and celebrate all children exactly as they are.

As Special Projects Coordinator for Miss Louisiana Volunteer, Abbey brings this same mission to life by helping create meaningful opportunities for our titleholders to engage with and uplift their communities. She leads with a passion for inclusiveness and looks for creative ways to connect her message with the next generation of young women.

She is also, without a doubt, the life of the party—Mamma Mia enthusiast, karaoke queen, and a woman who will be your biggest cheerleader before you’ve even asked for one. Her bold personality and soft heart remind us that joy and purpose can exist together—and that we’re all better when everyone has a seat at the table.
