With over 30 years of experience in scholarship-based pageantry, Ann Harmon has been a driving force in empowering young women through education, service, and confidence-building. As a former local director in both Texas and Louisiana and co-founder of the Princess America Pageant, she has helped shape the foundation of meaningful pageant experiences across the South.

Ann’s heart for education led her to secure the largest in-kind scholarships at the local level—earning recognition at the state level for 28 consecutive years. She has held numerous roles on the Louisiana Teen Board, including booking manager, webmaster, and traveling companion, and has judged pageants at the local, state, and national levels in multiple systems. Her commitment to excellence earned her the Miss Louisiana Volunteer of the Year Award in 2012 and the Princess America Spirit Award in 2011.

Ann’s presence on the Miss Louisiana Volunteer board brings a unique blend of wisdom, experience, and heartfelt legacy. She continues to lead by example, offering guidance and encouragement as the program evolves into its next chapter.

Outside of pageants, Ann is a dedicated volunteer with Holy Angels, Shriners Children’s Hospital, and Give Kids the World Village. She and her husband Buddy own and operate Harmon Ranch in Leigh, Texas, and share a blended family of six children and eleven grandchildren.
